Tulsa Woman Stabs Boyfriend With Bowie Knife, Police Say

Police arrested a Tulsa woman after they said she stabbed her boyfriend multiple times with a ten-inch Bowie knife late Wednesday. 

Officers said the stabbing happened just before midnight at the River Glen Townhomes in the 1300 block of East 63rd Street near Peoria.

The 50-year-old victim who lived with her was taken to the hospital by EMSA. Police say he is expected to survive his wounds. 

Officers booked Melissa Ryan, 43, into the Tulsa County jail on a complaint of assault with a deadly weapon. Police believe she had been drinking at the time.
