Small Neighborhood Bridge In Midtown Tulsa Closed

The City of Tulsa has closed a small neighborhood bridge in the 8900 block of East 15th Street, just east of Memorial due to deck issues.

The city says the bridge is closed in both directions until repairs can be made.  

Officials say the structure is timber over steel and it has been on the city's radar to be replaced.  Tulsa's engineering staff is evaluating the damage caused by recent rains.

In the meantime, the city says residents will have alternate access in and out of the neighborhood, along with emergency responders.
