Despite the rain, there are a few boaters out on Keystone Lake, but the weather is having an impact on fun and business.
The rain has been coming and going in spurts of light to heavy rain all day Saturday.
Even during some of the heaviest downpours, you still could see a few boats moving around on the water.
On a typical Memorial Day weekend, Keystone would be buzzing with people. Today, not so much.
Just as the rain started picking up you could see several boats making their way back to the safety of the docking area.
Other people were leaving the docks to simply go home.
We caught up with one group who says they were out on a beachy area when they could tell the rain was coming and noticed the clouds were getting gray.
"We were out for about 3 hours, found a little beach, the kids got to swim, and we saw the storm coming in and said it's about time to come home,” boater Glen Gravender said. “We have a safe haven here so we started coming back in and the rain hit us and we just out ran it and got back just in the nick of time."
There is one business owner near these docks who said the rain has cost him a lot of business today.
And if it continues, the rain could flood the walkways.
