Juvenile Injured In North Sand Springs Car Crash

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a teenage driver lost control of his car on a north Sand Springs road late Friday causing it to roll over.

Troopers said the Pontiac Grand Am was northbound in the 1800 block of North McKinley at the golf course when the car went off the road and rolled into a ditch. 

The Sand Springs Fire Department responded. 

The OHP says a juvenile passenger in the car was taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries. Troopers said the driver was also cited. 

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
