Tulsa Bikers Honor Veterans With American Hero Ride

One of the many groups honoring veterans this Memorial Day weekend is Tulsa's Independent Misfit Bikers.

They hit the road Friday morning, in the rain, for their 12th annual American Hero Ride.

Every year they head to the Veterans Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee to show their respect to the Veterans there.

They're also bringing gifts and financial help along, said IMB President, Paul Sell.

"There are so many veterans who have been forgotten and we are going to let them know we care," he said.

The riders' first stop will be Little Rock and they'll continue on to Memphis on Saturday.
