He says the eastern half of the state could see rain totals up two inches from 6 p.m. Tuesday until 6 a.m. Wednesday.

The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for Ottawa County's Neosho River.

Weather Alerts

The river near Commerce was over 18 feet Tuesday morning. Flood stage is 15 feet. The NWS says most of the flooding will be farm land along the river, but some low-lying areas around the city of Miami, like Riverview Park, could be cut off.
