Five people were taken to the hospital following a four-car crash Monday morning. The crash took place in the construction zone of eastbound Interstate 244 at the Harvard entrance.

Four vehicles were involved in the crash that took place around 6:40 a.m.

Two of the injured were taken by ambulance to the hospital while two others were transported in private vehicles.

Troopers say daily accidents and speeding drivers are keeping them busy in the Interstate 244 construction zone.
