Tulsa Police arrested a teenager early Friday after they said he pointed a gun at a people in a pickup who had mistaken him for someone else.
Officers said just after 1 a.m. two people in a Chevy pickup thought they recognized the driver of a Nissan Maxima headed south on Highway 169. After a second attempt to get the driver's attention, they told police the Maxima's driver pointed a gun at them.
They called police and continued to follow the car.
Police with the help of their helicopter, stopped the Maxima in the 5500 block of South Sheridan a short time later. Inside the car, police found a gun as well as marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Zachary Chase, 19, of Tulsa was arrested and booked into the Tulsa County jail on variety of complaints including pointing a deadly weapon, possession of marijuana, eluding and driving under suspension.
Jail records show Chase is being held in lieu of a $64,300 bond with a court appearance set for May 22.
