Multi-Vehicle Wreck Blocks Traffic On Turner Turnpike Near Stroud

A multi-vehicle wreck on Interstate 44 just east of the Stroud toll plaza backed up traffic in both directions.

Video sent from a News On 6 crew shows three vehicles involved. It appeared to involve a pickup that went over the center median, a mini van and a Honda. 

It's believed the pickup jackknifed over the center divider and may have been hauling the Honda on a flatbed trailer.

Two of the vehicles were on the westbound side of the turnpike with the pickup landing in the inside eastbound lane. No word yet on injuries.

The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority says both eastbound and westbound inside lanes were closed.
