Arsonist Sets Fire To Tulsa Business

The Tulsa Fire Department says someone set fire to a business on East 11th Street Tuesday morning.

Firefighters responded to Teter Sweepers east of Hillcrest Medical Center at about 5:30 a.m. after someone saw smoke coming from the building.

They put out the fire quickly, but the building suffered significant damage inside. 

Police closed 11th Street in both directions for a short time so firefighters could stretch a fire hose across the street.

There were no reports of any injuries.
