Crews Find Body Of Second Missing Lake Eufaula Canoer

Friday, four days after the first body of two canoers who went missing in Lake Eufaula was located, crews found the second.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the body of 41-year-old Sean McDonald was found at 5:30 Friday evening, almost 250 yards from shore.

The body of 23-year-old James Michael Giles was found April 21, just after 12:30 afternoon.

OHP said the two went missing April 18 in the Holiday Cover area of Lake Eufaula.

They said Giles and McDonald were caught out in a storm without life jackets and the canoe they were in overturned, causing both to drown.
