Father, Son Food Fight Leads To Stabbing, Tulsa Police Say

Tulsa Police said an argument between a man and his son over food ended with the son being stabbed.

Officers said the fight took place at the Palazzo Park Apartments in the 6000 block of South Newport just west of Peoria at about 1:30 a.m. 

Police were called after the pair began fighting over food. Tony Martinez told News On 6 his dad stabbed him in the arm with two hunting knives and he used a walking cane to defend himself. 

Officers said both men are claiming self defense. Police said they are still investigating.
