'Instant Feedback' Removed From Some Oklahoma Student Tests

The company in charge of testing Oklahoma students has removed some of the instant feedback students get after they finish their tests.

The company in charge of testing Oklahoma students has removed some of the instant feedback students get after they finish their tests.

Students who took tests on computers would immediately get their score and a message that said if they fell into the advanced, proficient, limited knowledge or unsatisfactory category.

Educators felt that label could be discouraging to some students, so state superintendent Joy Hofmeister asked the company to remove it.

Now Middle School students only see their score, not the message.
