Man Wanted For Wagoner County Rape Arrested In Missouri

The Missouri Highway Patrol arrested a man suspected of rape in Wagoner County.

Wayne Edwards, Sr. is in jail northeast of Kansas City, waiting for an extradition hearing.

Wagoner County deputies have been working with the FBI's violent crimes task force to track Edwards through several states.

Investigators said he sexually molested a 15-year-old girl he knew, earlier this month.
