Broken Arrow Police Chase Ends On Railroad Tracks

Broken Arrow Police are looking for a driver who ran away after getting his truck stuck on railroad tracks overnight. 

Officers said a detective saw a pickup pulling a trailer drive through the light at 81st and Lynn Lane at about midnight. The driver stopped but then drove off dragging chains from the trailer on the pavement. 

The officer chased the truck to 193rd East Avenue between 81st and 91st Streets South where the driver turned onto railroad tracks and got stuck. Police said the driver got out and ran. 

A K9 officer and a Tulsa Police helicopter were unable to locate the driver. 

Broken Arrow Police believe the truck and the trailer were stolen out of southwest Tulsa.
