The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office dive team was in Rogers County Monday, to help search for a gun connected to a threat against a Rogers County judge.

Seven divers took turns going into a pond near Highway 20 looking for the weapon, but they didn't have any luck.

Deputies believe the gun could be connected to a threat against Judge Stephen Pazzo. Melvin Jacobs was arrested two weeks ago for making the threat against the judge and an attorney.

Deputies say Jacobs was angry after a custody case, regarding guardianship of Jacobs' parents. Authorities obtained a search warrant after the incident but didn't find much.

Jacobs is accused of a misdemeanor, but more charges could come.

"Yeah, if we find this gun, we're going to file additional charges on Mr. Jacobs," said Major Coy Jenkins, Rogers County Sheriff's Office.

"We're going on record as a Sheriff's Office that we're not going to stand for this type of intimidation in Rogers County."

The pond is on Jacobs' property, deputies say.
