Police say a shots fired from a stolen Chevrolet Cavalier struck the home and personal car of a Tulsa Police officer Sunday evening.

Officers said at least four bullets hit the home and and one hit the car in the 1500 block of North Boston just before 9 p.m. Six people inside in the home at the time were not injured even though one of the bullets had penetrated inside.

When police arrived, they found the Cavalier crashed just south of the home. Police said the car had struck a mailbox which caused it to hit a Chevy Trailblazer parked nearby.

Witnesses reported seeing two men get out of the car and run away. Inside the Cavalier, police found a 9 mm black handgun.

Police told News On 6, they believe the officer's home and not the officer was target of the shooters.
