Oklahoma Troopers Arrest Woman After Hit-And-Run Crash

A woman is in jail Tuesday after causing a crash while suspected of driving drunk. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Bridgette Frappiea hit another car on Highway 169 near 91st Street and kept going after causing some serious damage.

A few minutes later, a trooper on the Creek Turnpike saw her vehicle heading west on the Creek and kicking up sparks. Eventually the tire and axle gave out near Riverside and officers determined she was involved in the hit and run.

Bridgette Frappiea was booked into Tulsa County Jail on complaints of hit and run and aggravated driving under the influence, first offense.

Police say the 48-year-old woman had a .23 blood alcohol content.

The other driver was not hurt.
