Eighth Person Becomes Ill After Listeria Found In Blue Bell Ice Cream

The number of people who have gotten sick after eating listeria-tainted Blue Bell ice cream has risen to eight.

The CDC says several people became ill after eating products made at the company's plant in Broken Arrow. Three deaths have been tied to the outbreak.

The company has now recalled at least seven flavors after being contaminated with Listeria, causing illnesses and even deaths in Kansas and Texas.

They voluntarily suspended operations at the manufacturing plant in Broken Arrow following the product recall.

Some Broken Arrow residents have created a banner supporting the plant and its presence in the town. If you want to sign it, it will be at the BA Chamber of Commerce officer Friday.
