Tulsa Man Charged With Rape Of Underage Girl

Prosecutors charged a Tulsa man Tuesday with multiple sex-related charges following his arrest last week.

Derick Brown, 24, is charged with two counts of first-degree rape, one count each of forcible oral sodomy, lewd proposals to a child, attempted rape and possession of child pornography.

Tulsa Police said Brown met the 13-year-old victim using a cellphone app in March. 

They said the victim met Brown after sneaking out of her home.  Police said they were called when the girl's parents found out.  Brown was arrested when he went back to the girl's home on April 1.

Derick Brown remains in the Tulsa County jail on a $250,000 bond with a court appearance set for April 14
