Investigators said someone set the fire that destroyed a vacant house in east Tulsa early Monday.

The Tulsa Fire Department said it got the call at 6:20 a.m. Firefighters originally were given the wrong address and when they arrived to the correct address in the 11600 block of 27th Street South near Garnett, the home was fully involved.

Public records show a bank owns the home. Firefighters searched inside but didn't find anyone.

Tulsa Fire Captain Stan May believes it was intentionally set.

He says they don't have any descriptions at this point, but they are asking for your help in tracking down the person, or people, who started the fire.

"Anybody that may have seen anything, or anybody around the house this morning around the hours of say, 5:30 and 6 oclock, we're looking for tips," said Captain Stan May.

The fire department's arson tip line is 918-596-ARSN.

Kim Watters thinks this may not be the last time neighbors will see a fire in the neighborhood.

"There's one about two blocks down on the next street that's empty, and has been empty, and I've wondering about it. And I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't next," said Kim Watters.

Captain May says no one was injured.
