Waterline Replacement, Striping Projects To Affect Tulsa-Area Drivers

Ongoing road construction projects may mean drivers will want to find an alternate route this week.

There will be various lane closures all week on the Sand Springs Expressway from the Inner Dispersal Loop to the 177th Avenue exit.

Crews will be striping the roadway from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Friday.

An ongoing waterline replacement project on 61st Street will be extending to Mingo intersection Monday. There will be lane reductions along both Mingo and 61st near the intersection - and traffic through the intersection will be down to one lane in each direction.

No left turns will be allowed in the intersection either.

Crews hope to have the waterline replaced sometime this May.
