Sapulpa Man Dies After Being Ejected In Creek County Crash

Troopers say 50-year-old Eric Bond departed state highway 97 to the left, struck a median, rolled his truck four times and was ejected.

A Sapulpa man died in a Creek County crash on Saturday night, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Troopers say 50-year-old Eric Bond was driving northbound on state Highway 97 at 81st Street South when, for an unknown reason, he departed to the left, struck a median and rolled his truck four times.

The collision report says Bond was ejected about 75 feet from the truck.

According to the investigating trooper, Bond was not wearing a seat belt.

The crash still is under investigation.
