OHP: Kansas, Oklahoma Woman Dies In Delaware County Crash

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is still investigating the cause of a crash on a Delaware County road early Thursday which killed a Kansas, Oklahoma woman.

Troopers said Andrea Ethridge, 20, was headed east on a county road west of Kansas when her 2002 Chevrolet ran off the road, struck a ditch, rolled over and then hit a tree.

The OHP said Ethridge was pronounced at the scene from massive injuries to head, legs and arms. They said she was not wearing her seat belt and was pinned in the wreckage for an hour and twenty minutes.

Troopers said in their report, there was the odor of alcohol beverages in the car. They said it was also raining at the time of the 3:47 a.m. crash.
