Family Identified In East Tulsa Murders-Suicide

Police have released the names of the family found dead Wednesday afternoon inside an east Tulsa home.

Tulsa Police Sergeant Dave Walker says the father, Sudheer Khamitkar, 42, was the shooter. The victims were his wife, Smita Khamitkar, 38, and their two sons, Arnav Khamitkar, 10, and Arush Khamitkar, 6. 

He said their investigation has not revealed any motive for the shootings.

Sgt. Walker said the family had lived at the home in the 18600 East 49th Street for 10 years and there was no previous history of domestic violence or criminal activity at the home.
