Police arrested a Tulsa couple after shots were fired inside a home Tuesday evening.

Officers were called to the home in the 2200 block of East 10th Street near Lewis just after 10 p.m. about a disturbance.

As police officers arrived they heard gunshots inside the home and saw several people run outside. Those people told police Kerri Schlemme, 31, had fired at least two shots at them with a rifle.

They also learned that they had talked to Jamison Stevens, 47, a short time earlier who had complained about some people refusing to leave his home.

Police surrounded the home and after a few minutes Schlemme and Stevens surrendered to officers.

Kerri Schlemme was booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of shooting with intent to kill and assault and battery. Jamison Stevens was booked in on a complaint of threatening a violent act. Jail records show Schlemme is being held in lieu of a $76,000 bond and Stevens is being held on a $50,000 bond.

Both have court appearances set for April 8.
