The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a semi rolled over after it struck a truck parked on the shoulder of Highway 412 in Rogers County early Monday.

Troopers said the location of the wreck was near the Verdigris River bridge which happened just after 4 a.m.

The OHP says Inola firefighters spent two hours cutting the driver of the 2013 Volvo tractor trailer, Milton Squires, 26, of Cedar Vale, Kansas out of his truck. He was taken to a Tulsa hospital where he was listed in stable condition.

Troopers said a 2010 International box box truck, driven by Michael Harvey, 38, of Tulsa had pulled onto the shoulder because of engine problems. Paramedics took the driver of that truck to a Tulsa hospital where he was treated and released.

The OHP says Squires was distracted and struck the box truck before rolling onto its side.
