News On 6 Story Leads To Arrest Of Teen Suspected Of Robbing 84-Year-Old Man

Tulsa police robbery detectives say a tip from a Facebook follower of News on 6 Anchor Lori Fullbright helped find a teenage suspect they say beat and robbed an 84-year-old man.

Lori interviewed the victim last week who turned the tables on the robber when he pulled out his gun.

Police arrested 16-year-old Demondre Marshall Scott for the robbery and for a carjacking that happened Thursday.

Police say in that crime, Scott was driving his victim's stolen car and had marijuana and hydrocodone on his person.

He was booked into Tulsa County Jail.
