Owasso police have served a search warrant on a smoke shop following an investigation into illegal sales of synthetic marijuana, a news release says.

Authorities have served a search warrant on a smoke shop following an investigation into illegal sales of synthetic marijuana, a news release says.

Owasso Deputy Chief of Police Jason Woodruff said several businesses were served with warrants, but the smoke shop has been a target of an investigation over the last year.

Owasso detectives, the Bureau of Indian Affairs, the Cherokee Nation Marshall Service, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Rogers County Sheriff's Office and the Claremore Police Department all were involved in the year-long investigation.
