Tulsa Police say a woman was shot in the foot during a dispute they believe was among family members late Monday.

Officers said just after 10 p.m. they responded to a home in the 2200 block of North Florence near Apache about multiple shots fired.

Police said from what they've learned, a fight outside the home escalated with several people firing handguns. During the exchange of gunshots, the victim was hit.

Officers said they found 15 shell casings in the street and bullet holes in the home and a home next door. Inside the first home, four children, ages 15, 11, eight and one were asleep. None of them were injured.

Police said by the time they arrived, everyone had scattered except for the woman who was wounded. EMSA took her to the hospital. Police say she is expected to be OK.

Police did recover one gun and arrested a person for public intoxication. Officers are still investigating.
