Police: Bullet Fired Through Bedroom Wall Hits Sleeping Tulsa Woman

Police say a woman asleep in her Tulsa apartment was shot in the shoulder early Friday. 

Officers say they got the call of a shooting at 3:13 a.m. to an apartment complex in the 2100 block of North Hartford near Virgin.  Police believe the the bullet was fired by someone in the complex's courtyard then went through a wall of the victim's bedroom and struck her in the left shoulder. 

EMSA took the 26-year-old victim to the hospital in serious condition. 

Officers said there are no witnesses to the shooting and they did not find any shell casings in the courtyard.

Police continue to investigate.
