ORU Sets New World Record For Popping Bubble Wrap

Oral Roberts University is now the official Guinness world record holder for the most number of people popping bubble wrap simultaneously for two minutes.

More than 1,100 people participated in the popping as part of ORU's "Pop Til You Drop" challenge this past January.

They were celebrating Bubble Wrap Appreciation Day. The previous record was set last May by 942 people at a Minnesota Elementary School.

ORU students used 6,000 square feet of bubble wrap to break the record.
