Traffic Light Back In Service At Elm And BA Expressway In Broken Arrow

The City of Broken Arrow reports that an intersection traffic signal is back in action Friday afternoon. Drivers had been encouraged to avoid the intersection of Elm at the Broken Arrow overpass after an accident damaged the signal.

Krista Flasch will the City of BA says traffic lights on both sides of the overpass are working as of about 2:30 p.m. The 4-way stop signs have been removed.

A woman driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee knocked one of the traffic signal poles down just before 5 p.m. Thursday, and the lights had been down since then.

The woman is expected to be OK - she sustained some minor injuries, according to Flasch.
