Police: Alert Tulsa Neighbor Leads To Burglary Arrests

Tulsa Police arrested two men after a neighbor spotted the pair enter a garage in the 6600 block of South Louisville early Monday.

Tulsa Police arrested two men after a neighbor spotted the pair enter a garage in the 6600 block of South Louisville early Monday. 

Officers were called just after 2 a.m. about a burglary in progress. Police arrived to find Robert Jefferson, 32, and Kevin Hazelton, 38, driving away in a white Jeep which officers stopped.

Police said their investigation determined the two men had entered the garage and stole a garage remote, but were interrupted by the neighbor.

Jefferson was booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of second-degree burglary, possession of a forged instrument, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

Hazelton was booked on a complaint of second-degree burglary.

Jail records show both men have a court appearance set for March 9, 2015.
