Tulsa Police Arrest Man Driving Stolen Pickup

Police arrested a man early Monday after he led officers on a short chase in north Tulsa.

Police said an officer on patrol in the 6100 block of East Admiral Place spotted a 1999 Dodge Ram 3500 pickup truck reported stolen out of Sand Springs. When the officer attempted to stop the pickup, it turned north on Sheridan then west on Easton Street before stopping.

Police booked the driver, Joel Farris, 33 into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of possession of a stolen vehicle, failure to stop, driving under suspension and eluding. Jail records show Joel Farris has a March 9, 2015 court appearance.

Police said they questioned and released a passenger in the pickup.
