Law enforcement officers from the Tulsa area took part in the Polar Plunge - and boy, was it cold. The plunge, which raises money for Special Olympics, was held at Big Splash Water Park during Saturday snow storm.

The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office team had 39 people who dreamed of warmer days by plunging in Hawaiian outfits. They were the top team last year, winning the "Golden Plunger" award for 2014.

Jace Jackson plunged for the Tulsa Police Department. It's his second year to participate and said it was much colder than last year.

So why did he do it?

"Special Olympics is a great cause. If you ever go to one of their events and you see it, there's no reason you can think not to do it," he said.

"The joy you see in their faces, it's all worth it."

He plans to be plunging again next year.
