Man Dies In North Tulsa Fire

A primary and secondary search didn't find any other people, so firefighters said they don't know if there was anyone else in the home who was able to escape.

A man has died in a house fire in the 1900 block of North Main in Tulsa on Saturday night, officials confirm.

Firefighters said a lot of the debris in the home slowed down crews that were trying to battle the flames.

A primary and secondary search didn't find any other people, so firefighters said they don't know if there was anyone else in the home who was able to escape.

Arson investigators were on scene doing interviews late Saturday.

When firefighters arrived, they said smoke was coming from the attic area. The fire marshal will determine the official cause.
