A semi blocked both lanes of eastbound Highway 412 between Catoosa and Inola during overnight rains Saturday.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the driver of a semi with box trailer was going too fast for the wet road conditions when he lost control of his vehicle at about 3 a.m. The truck slid and jackknifed across the highway with the trailer high-centered on the roadway.

Another semi, this one pulling a tanker, tried to go around on the inside of the highway and got stuck in the mud.

Traffic was diverted on 4160 Road North and South for over an hour while the two vehicles were cleared from the highway.

Rogers County Sheriff's Office and Inola Police assisted with traffic control.

Troopers at the scene said no one was injured.
