TU Offers MBB Fans Cheap AAC Championship Tickets

Tulsa fans can purchase tickets for the American Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Championship, March 12-15, through the TU Athletic Ticket Office for as low as $99 per seat. The championship will be played at the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut.

Tulsa fans purchasing tickets through next Friday, February 13th can receive a discount of $100 per ticket off of regularly established prices. Regular prices are $199, $279 and $349. The three ticket packages are now available for $99, $179 and $249 per ticket through Friday, Feb. 13. The ticket package includes all 10 games of the tournament.

The Golden Hurricane currently sits in first place in The American. The 11 teams that comprise the league have a combined six NCAA titles, made 22 Final Four appearances, 67 Sweet Sixteen appearances and 173 NCAA tournament appearances.

The 2015 championship will begin with three first-round games Thursday, March 12. Two quarterfinal doubleheaders will be played Friday, March 13, followed by a semifinal doubleheader on Saturday, March 14. The championship game will be played on Sunday, March 15.

The XL Center, located in the heart of Hartford, has hosted a number of NCAA Championship men's and women's basketball games and previously served as a home site for the NBA's Boston Celtics. The facility completed a $35 million upgrade to its infrastructure in September.
