The Coffeyville Police Department says one of its officers has been placed on unpaid leave following an arrest in Tulsa on a complaint of engaging in prostitution.

Undercover Tulsa police officers arrested Eric Wright, 27, of Yates Center, Kansas on Wednesday after he responded to an online escort service ad.

The police report said Wright requested the undercover cop wear wear heels and tan stockings when they met at a Tulsa motel. At the motel, police said Wright was arrested when he placed $120 on a motel room table.

Wright was taken to the Tulsa County jail. Jail records show he has a court appearance set for February 11, 2015.

Coffeyville Police Chief Tony Celeste said Eric Wright had been with their department for less than six months.
