Tulsa Mayor, Councilors Discuss Budget Priorities

Tulsa Mayor Dewey Bartlett and the city council met Thursday morning to set mutual priorities for the upcoming fiscal year.

During the meeting at city hall, the leaders from both branches of city government agreed river development is one of the top priorities for the upcoming budget.

The 2015-16 fiscal year begins on July 1, 2015.

Police Chief Chuck Jordan and U.S. Attorney Danny Williams also attended the meeting with the mayor and councilors to talk about public safety issues.

In addition, the group discussed economic development.
