A Muskogee County school announced that illness is forcing it to close the rest of the week.
Webbers Falls Schools will be closed because so many students have the flu or strep throat.
According to Superintendent, Dr. Dixie Swearingen, roughly 17 percent of enrollment was out Tuesday, and at some locations classes had more than a third of kids out.
She said the best option was to close and get everyone healthy.
Swearingen said Wednesday they will call teachers in to begin disinfecting everything.
