Authorities arrived at the scene around 12:30 p.m. after a man walking his dog discovered the body.
"It appeared to be a white male, face down in the water, and he did not have any clothes on," said Sergeant Rex Mann.
Police say there is some trauma to the man's body, what appears to be "road rash."
Crime scene tape was used to block off the area as the death is investigated. The sergeant said some evidence in and around the pond may help them identify the man.
The medical examiner will determine the cause of death after a dive team recovers the body, Mann said.
