While News Camera Rolls, Alleged Tulsa Shooter Says He Shot His Friend

Tulsa police said one man was shot by his friend after an argument in an East Tulsa neighborhood on Saturday night.

The shooting happened at a home near 19th and Memorial.

TPD said two men got into argument and one shot another.

News On 6 spoke with the alleged shooter as police took him into custody to be questioned by detectives.

Reporter: "What happened? Did you shoot your friend?"

Alleged shooter, name unknown: "Sure did. I didn't mean to."

Reporter: "What do you mean you didn't mean to?"

Alleged shooter, name unknown: "Nah. He jumped on me,”

Reporter: “What happened?”

Alleged shooter, name unknown: “Are these reporters?”

Police officer: “Yeah.”(closes door)

EMSA said paramedics transported the 51-year-old victim in serious condition to an area hospital.
