Authorities in several eastern Oklahoma counties are working with Sequoyah County after a couple was arrested last week for burglary.
Deputies booked Timothy Davidson, 29, and Heather Spears, 28, into jail following a burglary in rural Sequoyah County. They also recovered guns and other items.
Sequoyah County Sheriff Ron Lockhart told KFSM, the CBS affiliate in Fort Smith, his investigators were able to connect the couple to additional burglaries in the Vian and Gore area.
He said deputies believed the pair may have also committed burglaries in Cherokee, Muskogee and Okmulgee counties.
Lockhart's office is now working with law enforcement in those counties to identify additional victims and other suspects who may be involved.
Davidson was booked into jail on complaints of second degree burglary, assault on a police officer, possession of stolen property and grand larceny. Spears was booked on second-degree burglary, grand larceny and obtaining property under false pretense.
