Car Rolls After Hitting Center Barrier In Downtown Tulsa

Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to a rollover injury crash in downtown Tulsa early Sunday. A car was westbound on Interstate 244 at about 5 a.m. when the driver hit the guardrail divider at the junction with U.S. Highway 75.

The four-door sedan hit the guardrail head on and rolled several times. It came to rest on its roof in the exit lanes to 1st Street.

A driver and passenger were taken to Tulsa hospitals with minor injuries. The trooper told News On 6 that alcohol may have played a role in the crash, but it was still under investigation.

Tulsa firefighters assisted with traffic control and clean up.
