Sand Springs Woman Killed In ATV Wreck At Keystone Lake

Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports an ATV wreck that killed one person and critically injured another at Keystone Lake Saturday.

Troopers say the crash took place around 5:30 p.m. at Keystone Lake in Pawnee County.

Ty Daniel Gant of Sand Springs lost control of his 1998 Yamaha ATV while driving on Monkey Island. The 29-year-old Sand Springs man and his passenger were thrown from the vehicle, a collision report states.

Passenger Denise Ashley Zawaski, a 27-year-old Sand Springs resident, died of head and other injuries. Gant was taken to a Tulsa hospital in critical condition with head and other injuries.

Gant's condition before the crash and the cause of the fatality wreck are under investigation, the report states.
