Allegiant Air To Expand Nonstop Service Out Of Tulsa

Allegiant Air will add three new nonstop service destinations out of Tulsa this year.

Allegiant Air will add three new nonstop service destinations out of Tulsa this year. 

The low-fare, no-frills airline announced Tuesday the three new destinations as St. Petersburg-Clearwater International in Florida , Los Angeles International and Las Vegas' McCarran International Airport.

Tulsa International Airport held a news conference Tuesday morning to announce seasonal flights to those locations. Prices will vary from $65 to $80 on the new flights, for one-way service.


Allegiant Air

Two of the destinations, St. Petersburg-Clearwater and Los Angeles will be seasonal. St. Petersburg-Clearwater flights will be May 7, 2015 through August 18, 2015 and Los Angeles June 5, 2015 through August 18, 2015. Allegiant will offer year-round service to Las Vegas beginning on April 8, 2015.

"Our current route to Orlando out of Tulsa is doing really well and were very excited to provide these new routes and hopefully these will do well as well," said Laura Billiter with Allegiant Airlines.

Currently, Allegiant offers twice a week nonstop service from Tulsa to Orlando, Florida.

The new seasonal flights to Tampa Bay and Los Angeles will operate twice weekly and the year-round flights to Las Vegas will operate three times weekly.
