A pickup driver was arrested after hitting a car and a sign pole after leaving a midtown Tulsa bar, according to Tulsa police. Authorities say the incident took place at about 2:15 a.m. Saturday.

Officers say Daniel Carrasco-Banuelos was leaving a bar at 21st and Memorial in and turned to go north on Memorial. He made a too-wide turn and clipped the side of a Buick that was also northbound.

Carrasco-Banuelos kept going, and the Buick driver followed him, police told News On 6. That driver called 911 with the tag number from the truck then dropped back.

The 28-year-old Carrasco-Banuelos ended up hitting a pole at 9th and Sheridan. He was still in the truck when police arrived, an arrest report states.

He was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, hit and run and driving without a license or insurance. He's being held for immigration.

No one was injured, police say.
