Broken Arrow's new fire chief officially rang into service on Friday.
Jeremy Moore took command of the department as chief on Dec. 31.
This week, city leaders, firefighters, friends and family gathered for the official change of command at a public ceremony.
Before taking charge of the Broken Arrow department, Moore served with the Tulsa Fire Department as a district chief.
BA has one of the largest departments in the state with 152 firefighters, six stations and a service area of more than 100 square miles.
